Donahue & Company are leading North American appraisal and urban economics experts, specializing in corridors. Donahue and Bercha have worked together as experts on a number of important litigations, including evaluation of the pipeline corridor along the Santa Fe pipeline corridor along the Southern Pacific Railway for 1,800 miles from San Francisco, California to El Paso, Texas. Bercha provided risk and constructability information, while Donahue provided the appraisal data.
Entec Consulting Limited
Entec Consulting, led by John Jameson, P.Eng., is one of the leading engineering and contracting organizations for directional drills for utility and pipeline crossing.
GISAT is a Czech
company created in 1990, with a strong orientation towards remote
sensing and GIS technology. GISAT has proved its professional expertise
through several national and international projects during the past
decade.
The GISAT team of six employees is supported by
the Czech Institute of Ecology and the Faculty of Natural Sciences at
Charles University. The company facilities include high-level
professional hardware and spatial analysis software, providing efficient
tools for the tasks that will be carried out by the ETC-TE.
IOT operates under the National Research Council of Canada. IOT is an internationally recognized leader in ocean engineering research and a catalyst for advancing Canadian ocean technology. The Institute collaborates with industry, research organizations and government to anticipate and respond to challenges and opportunities that will improve the competitiveness of Canadian industry. Bercha and IOT have worked together in the development of methods for evaluating the reliability of marine evacuation systems, with IOT carrying out model tests, and Bercha carrying out reliability simulation.
Noetix Research Inc. was incorporated in 1988 within the province of Ontario and is located in Ottawa, Ontario Canada. The firm specializes in remote sensing and geographic information systems for land and marine applications including project management, software and engineering solutions. By combining the expertise of our full and diverse staff, Noetix Research is able to provide winning solutions for operational problems as well as client-tailored products and services. Collaboration between Tom Hirose, President of Noetix, and the Bercha Group, dates back to when Mr. Hirose was employed by Bercha Group as a Geomatics Manager in their Ottawa office.
Petrolcarbon, managed by Dr. Luis Vargas, is both an agency and a service company providing specialized services to the South American oil industry. The company is located in Bogotá, Colombia, and has worked together with the Bercha Group on a number of important risk assessment projects in that country, providing both representative and technical services.
Risk, Reliability and Safety Engineering (RRS) is a full-service safety and risk management consulting firm offering EHS services to companies in the process industries and broader industries segments. RRS provides high-quality, cost-effective safety, risk management and asset management reliability services that enable companies to improve safety and increase efficiency and profitability. Beyond regulatory compliance support with OSHA and EPA standards, RRS creates significant benefits that include enhanced reliability levels, reduced operating costs by minimizing injuries and property damage, prevention of potential accidental releases, and efficient business performance. Bercha and RRS have agreed to cooperate on selected risk analysis projects.
Safety First provides industrial and offshore safety services, audits, studies, and hands-on training. Bercha and Safety First have cooperated extensively in research on, and development of, offshore escape, evacuation, and rescue measures directed at improving the reliability of current and future EER systems.
Secunda Marine, located in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, supplies a full range of specialty marine services including workboats, rig transfers, port and harbor logistic programs. Secunda Marine has assisted Bercha in the evaluation and development of escape, evacuation, and rescue systems with particular emphasis on the rescue component.
SL Ross are specialists in all aspects of oil spill modeling, clean up, and impact assessment. Bercha and SL Ross have worked together on a number of important studies on oil spill occurrences, including the development of an oil spill model for the Alaskan OCS.
Survival Systems, based out of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, are leaders in safety and survival training for personnel working in the aviation, marine and offshore industry. Bercha and Survival Systems have worked together on EER R&D.
